I have never been a fan of short hair on me, but I'm thinking that now is the time. Here are the possibilities:
Someone from "the brunette dimension," wherever that is. She looks amazingly well for traipsing around interdimensionally--I myself look like crap when I just go by airplane. Anyway, I wish they had someone more my age in that brunette dimension that could show me what it would look like on a fifty-year old. ANYTHING looks good on a teenager--how can you tell anything by these magazines?
This one is sort of cute, too...but again, how would it look on an old lady with glasses and flappy arms? No, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between the interdimensional brunette hairdo and this perky little earthling's hairdo, but her ears are covered much better in this one. I don't like looking at my ears. I don't have ugly ears, I just don't want to see them every day.
The advantage to this second haircut is that it can also do this:
But this is what my hair actually looks like when I get off a plane. Somehow it doesn't look nearly as cute on me as it does on this girl.
So what do you think? Haircut 1 or Haircut 2, with or without jet lag? Vote on the sidebar to the right. I'll let Herman know what you think!
Three "by the ways":
By the way, Calico Quilter, I'm having trouble emailing you. Is your email address correct on your profile? Let me know at lisa [at] lisaboyer [dot] com.And by the way, didn't Chikezie steal the show on Idol tonight? I thought he was outstanding!! I still love Jason and David, too, but poor David had a bad night. Out of the girls, I liked Brooke tonight.
And also by the way, speaking of idols, did you see this in the news today?:
Dawn Wells aka Mary Anne, my Gilligan's Island idol, arrested for erratic driving, failing the breathalyzer test, and having marijuana in her car. See? That's what happens when you become a flappy-armed grandma and try to give up coconut cream pie. Ladies, let this be a lesson to you. This is what happens when you skip the pie. Never skip the pie.
